The Fender Newporter gives you the tone of a vintage, small body acoustic with the feel of a late 60’s Stratocaster neck, and a great overall sunny 60s vibe.
Fender acoustics from this period are notoriously hard to date precisely, due to Fender not keeping any records from their serial number system used for their acoustic guitars. However, based on the serial, specs and stamps inside the guitar, we believe this example to be from 1969. The mahogany top version was built between 1968 and 1971.
The guitar sounds good and plays well. Bridge has a slight gap from the body, but is stable.
Non-original hard case included.
