Woodstock Guitars

This 1969 Gretsch Duo Jet in its original black finish is a well-played example of one of Gretsch’s most iconic guitars.

All original with no modifications, this guitar is a true survivor from the late ’60s. The original frets are in good condition, and the guitar plays well with a comfortable, vintage feel. It has been thoroughly enjoyed over the years, as evidenced by the wear on the body, which is entirely consistent with its age and history.

The body shows the characteristic binding rot that often afflicts vintage Gretsch instruments of this era. The plastic binding on some areas has begun to crumble, a common issue that is visible in the provided photos.

While this Duo Jet features the built-in treble boost system found on this particular vintage, it is currently non-functional.

The original hardshell case is included. It exhibits significant wear consistent with decades of use, but it remains fully functional. Weight is 3200 grams. A very cool and playable vintage Gretsch for collectors and players alike.
