The neck is dated April 1965, and the potentiometers date to the 15th week of 1965, affirming its mid-year production. Both pickups are original and stamped with 1965 dates, while the frets, though worn from years of use, remain playable. Weight is 3580g. The Candy Apple Red finish has notable wear along the edges, back, and matching headstock, as can be seen in the photos.<\/p>\n
Introduced in 1958, the Fender Jazzmaster was originally marketed as a high-end alternative to the Stratocaster, intended to appeal to jazz guitarists.
