The Fairytale is Duesenberg\u2019s modern take on the lap steel, built around a Korina body and neck with a black anodized aluminium fingerboard. The Multibender bridge allows selected strings to be bent up or down by a semitone or whole tone, giving access to pedal-steel style movement directly from the instrument. The system can take up to five levers, with additional levers available separately.<\/p>\n
The integrated Easy-Shift Capo runs on a rail inside the fingerboard and can be moved quickly for key changes. Electronics are straightforward and useful, with master volume, a short-travel 70\u00b0 tone speed pot for swells, and a 3-way pickup selector. The neck pickup is Duesenberg\u2019s hum-cancelling SingleTwin Domino P90, paired with a GrandVintage Humbucker in the bridge position.<\/p>\n
