kr. 24,500

Handcrafted by Avalon Custom Lutherie in Northern Ireland. All solid woods; Red Cedar top with East Indian rosewood back and sides. Bindings are solid Pearwood, as is the center strip of the neck, the rest of which is mahogany. Bridge and fingerboard are ebony, as are the buttons on the premium grade Gotoh tuners. Comes with a high quality Hiscox case, made in England.

The combination of Indian Rosewood back and sides and Red Cedar soundboard give this guitar a rich warm tone with clean trebles. This pairing of woods makes for a guitar that is suitable for all types of playing, but a perfect choice for fingerstyle.

About Avalon

Avalon started out as Lowden Guitars, and became Avalon when George Lowden went his own way more than 10 years ago. Avalons are built in the same shop by several of the same luthiers that were building Lowden branded guitars back then. Avalons are equal if not better in build quality to Lowdens, and have the same bell-like sound and ease of playing.
