Woodstock Guitars

The Fender Bullet series, introduced in 1981, was designed as a replacement for Fender’s student-level Musicmaster and Mustang guitars.

Aimed at providing an affordable yet high-quality option, the Bullet retained key features of its predecessors while incorporating new design elements that appealed to beginners and gigging musicians alike. Crafted in the USA at Fender’s Fullerton factory, the Bullet lineup delivered excellent tone, reliability, and playability.

This particular Bullet Deluxe (1980-82) in a striking red finish features the full-scale 25.5” neck, giving it a familiar and comfortable feel for players accustomed to Stratocasters and Telecasters. The sound is a unique blend of Fender’s classic tones, sitting somewhere between a Telecaster’s twang and a Stratocaster’s chime. The original single-coil pickups offer a sweet, dynamic response, and the middle switch position is hum-canceling.

This Bullet Deluxe is in very good condition with light scratches and normal play wear for its age. It plays exceptionally well, thanks to its smooth low action and solid build. Adding to its appeal is the inclusion of an original Fender hardshell case—a rare and valuable accessory for a guitar from this era.
