Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic Blonde 2004

DKK 24995

The 2004 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic is a focused take on the early slab-board Strat. In 1959–60 Fender moved from one-piece maple to a rosewood fingerboard, kept the 25.5″ scale and vintage hardware, and introduced the familiar three-ply pickguard. The Custom Shop ’60 Relic mirrors those features with period-correct construction, thin nitrocellulose lacquer, and mild aging.

This example is finished in Transparent Blonde, a color historically paired with ash bodies. The factory relic is tasteful; note a larger ding on the top that looks heavier than the surrounding wear and is likely from later use rather than the original treatment. The neck has a slim C profile. Jumbo frets are effectively like new with no notable flat spots.

Weight is 3500g. The guitar ships in a brown G&G Fender case in great condition, with plush interior and functioning latches.
