Back in 1968, Fender created a couple hundred Pink Paisley Telecasters as a limited run. These Telecasters were not very popular when they were first released, but after James Burton decided to play one with Elvis, the Pink Paisley Tele instantly became one of the coolest and most sought after vintage instruments.
This reproduction has been Masterbuilt by Jason Smith of the Fender Custom Shop and is a truly masterful piece of work. The custom neck carve is based on the mid 60s oval “C” back shape and feels fantastic. The fretboard has has a 9.5” radius and 6105 frets.
This particular model has never been available for sale new in Denmark. This guitar is very, very rare in Closet Classic finish, and originally came from a dealer in Chicago. The YouTube video below is the shop’s original demonstration video of the guitar.
