Woodstock Guitars

This 1966 Fender Stratocaster in a classic sunburst finish exudes decades of character, showcasing its history as a well-loved gigging instrument. Despite its extensive wear, the sunburst finish is still vibrant, contributing to an overall patina that really adds to the guitar’s vintage appeal. Weight is a lightweight 3490g. This Stratocaster is an absolute joy to play, aided by a professional refret that ensures exceptional modern playability.

Neck date is June 1966. Volume pot has been replaced over the years, but the tone pots are the originals, darted week 32, 1965. The original 3-way pickup switch has been upgraded to a 5-way, and shielding has been installed in the electronics cavity.

The middle pickup cavity has been routed for a humbucker. The headstock bears evidence of four small filled-in holes from a previously installed string-locking device of some kind. Includes original case, which has considerable wear but is fully functional.
