Fender Telecaster Bass 1968 Daphne Blue

DKK 34995

Introduced in 1968, the Telecaster Bass revived the original 1951 Precision Bass recipe: slab-style body, one-piece maple neck, and a single-coil pickup with simple volume/tone controls.

In 1972 the model shifted to a large neck-position humbucker for a thicker, darker voice, but the 1968–71 single-coil version remains the most direct link to the first-generation P-Bass sound—bright attack, clear mids, and fast transient response.

This example has been professionally refinished in Daphne Blue. Apart from the refinish, it is all original: pickup, pots and wiring, bridge, tuners, pickguard, and plastics. The original frets are in good condition and it plays great. The maple neck and fingerboard show attractive, honest wear that feels broken-in without being worn out. Weight is 4800g. It comes in a non-original case.

Overall, a clean, player-ready early Telecaster Bass with the classic single-coil character and a tasteful custom-color look. Includes original case.
