kr. 41995Woodstock Guitars
Fantastic 2006 Gibson Custom Shop 1960 reissue with a KILLER flametop and what to us looks like a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. We can’t guarantee that it is, but it sure looks nice!
The guitar is in really good condition, but it does show minor signs of use over the years. A couple of pick scratches in the finish and a few unavoidable minor dings around the body and on the back from a belt buckle. The reflector knob for the neck tone control has a tiny chip off the top.
The back of the neck is completely free from dings, ensuring a smooth feel and unobstructed playability. On the treble side of the fretboard, there are some minor binding cracks from the frets.
COA is missing. Includes original case. Weight is 3890g.
In 1960, the Les Paul Standard still had the flame maple top, sunburst finish, and “Patent Applied For” pickups of its predecessors, but a slim taper neck was added for a decidedly different feel.
The final adjustments failed to save the Standard, however, and after 1960 the single cutaway Les Paul was replaced by the thin bodied, double cutaway SG.
