The rare and now discontinued ES-275 is effectively a scaled-down thinline L5. Fantastic archtop guitar of the kind that Gibson just doesn’t make anymore.

The Gibson ES-275 Custom is a reinvented classic archtop designed with the modern player in mind. Honoring the long tradition of Gibson’s great jazz guitars in looks, tone and feel, the ES-275 Custom offers players of any musical genre a timeless instrument with modern functionality.

For improved access to the 22 fret fretboard, the thinline body design features a single rounded cutaway. The Grover “Milk Bottle” Rotomatic tuners and pinned ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles offer precise intonation and tuning stability. Rich tones are always on tap thanks to the hand-wired MTC Premiere control assembly with Orange Drop capacitors, 550K matched pots, and MHS humbucking pickups.

This specific example is used but very well taken care of, with only minor dings and play-related marks. The nitrocellulose lacquer has developed a lovely patina, with the finish beginning to thin on the back of the neck and parts of the body. Frets are in like-new condition and guitar plays really well. Weight is 3000g. Includes original case. COA and case candy missing.

This ES-275 Custom is a beauty with timeless class that plays as good as it looks.
