Lowden O-34+ Koa Adirondack BRUGT
A guitar that captures everything Lowden stands for—craftsmanship, character, and clarity.
The O-34 pairs figured koa back and sides with an Adirondack spruce top, delivering a warm, articulate tone that’s equally suited for fingerstyle and rhythm work. Koa adds a responsive, airy quality, while the spruce brings punch and detail across the tonal spectrum.
Built on Lowden’s original “O” body shape—second-largest in their lineup—this guitar offers impressive volume without sacrificing balance. Despite its size, the design avoids the boominess you’d expect from a jumbo-style guitar, thanks to George Lowden’s carefully voiced bracing and soundbox geometry.
True to the Original Series heritage, which dates back to 1976, the O-34 is elegant without being flashy. The maple binding, Rocklite/maple/mahogany purfling, and seven-piece wood rosette speak Lowden’s understated design language. A rosewood bridge and ebony fingerboard complete the look.
This example weighs just 2000 grams and is in excellent condition overall. There’s some minor fretwear in the first five frets, a few small marks around the body, and a small ding in the top just beneath the transparent pickguard. Otherwise, it’s very close to new. It also includes the original certificate of authenticity and case candy, all housed in a sturdy Hiscox hardshell case.
The 5-piece mahogany/rosewood neck features Lowden’s comfortable GL Standard profile with a 45mm nut and a 650mm scale, giving you both warmth and clarity up the neck. Gotoh 510 tuners with ebony buttons ensure smooth, reliable tuning, and the included Hiscox case makes transport worry-free.
