Rickenbacker 4001 Bass 1976 Fireglo

DKK 29995

The 4001 is Rickenbacker’s legendary neck-through bass introduced in the 1960s and refined through the ’70s. Known for articulate attack, bright overtones, and piano-like sustain, it became a studio and stage staple. Notable 4001 users include Chris Squire (Yes), Geddy Lee (Rush), Paul McCartney, Lemmy Kilmister (Motörhead), Bruce Foxton (The Jam), and Roger Glover (Deep Purple).

This example has standard playwear and minor dings normal for its age. Frets are in good shape with plenty of life. Pots and knobs have been replaced, and electronics cavity has been shielded. Weight is 4400g. The Fireglo finish still has strong colour. Includes newer case.

If you’re looking for the Rickenbacker sound and look, this is a very cool, classic bass from a sought-after mid-’70s era, ready to bring the thunder!
