Founded in 1979, Steinberger has built many innovative instruments using graphite necks in various guitar and bass iterations. The XM series bass came in gloss black or, like this one, rare gloss white with black bindings.
Year is 1987-88, and condition is good, with very little playwear. No fretwear. It’s had a small hole drilled into the electronics cover plate.
