The Amistar Amicaster resophonic electric guitar is a modern interpretation of the classic resonator guitar, blending traditional design with contemporary features. Produced by the now sadly out of business Amistar in the Czech Republic, the Amicaster offers musicians a versatile instrument suitable for various musical styles, from blues and country to rock and folk.

Amistar guitars were handmade in the Czech Republic, but are no longer in business since the founder and principal builder Franta Javurek passed away in 2015.
