Woodstock – no bullshit since 1992

Woodstock Guitars is more than just a shop, it’s a destination for all things stringed in Denmark.

Yeah, we’ve got all the stuff you expect – acoustic and electric guitars in every price range, from high-quality beginner models to ultra-exclusive, handbuilt pro gear and insane vintage finds, but we also have stuff you might not expect, such as the biggest selection of classical and flamenco guitars in Denmark. Gibson, Ibanez, Blueridge, Furch, Blade, Magneto, Höfner, Alhambra, Esteve – we’ve got them all. New, used or straight-up rare. If it’s got strings, style and soul, you’ll find it here.

But we don’t stop at guitars. We’ve got basses, mandolins, ukuleles, even banjos. Plus pedals, amps, straps, stands, cables – everything you need to plug in, crank it up, and make some noise.

Need a setup, repair or full-on rebuild? Our in-house workshop can make pretty much anything play better, play louder, play weirder – or just play at all.

Aarhus – the original Woodstock

It all started in a backyard basement in Aarhus in 1992 packed with guitars, tube amps, pedals and more. Much more! Since then, both the store and the selection have grown, and today Woodstock Guitars Aarhus is the biggest (and probably baddest) guitar shop in Denmark, spread across three floors and then some.

We’re still in the same backyard, just 10 minutes on foot from Aarhus Central Station. Still loaded with acoustic and electric guitars, vintage treasures, ukes, mandolins, banjos and every other stringed thing you can imagine. Whether you’re hunting for your number one or your number 100, we’re here to help you find it.

This is where it all began, and this is where it’s still alive and kicking.

Copenhagen – small shop, big attitude

Since 2009, Woodstock Copenhagen has been right in the centre of the city, in Borgergade, just five minutes from Nyhavn and Kongens Nytorv. The shop’s stacked and packed with everything you need, plus a bunch of stuff you didn’t know you needed but absolutely do.

You’ll find pretty much the same wide selection as in Aarhus, just on a slightly smaller scale. New and used acoustic and electric guitars, killer vintage pieces, ukes, mandolins, boutique pedals, amps and all the accessories.
