Blueridge is an American brand based in San Francisco, California that has invested in high-quality Far East production for 40 years. The guitars are designed by legendary banjo and guitar designer Greg Rich, who has previously worked with the Gibson Custom Shop and is a very highly respected instrument maker.
They are inspired by classic designs and get their tone both from being made to classic pre-war specifications, and particularly from using wood quality usually found only on much more expensive instruments, from the same wood sources that all the high-end guitar companies use for top quality wood. No artificial materials are used at all - abalone is abalone, rosewood is rosewood, ebony is ebony, and mahogany is mahogany. That is why they sound so good.
Blueridge has achieved cult status in the US, which can be clearly seen from the many positive reviews that can be found in magazines and on net forums. Many top musicians, both in Denmark and the rest of the world, have moved away from their old iconic guitars to play Blueridge. You might also have heard of the guy in the YouTube video above!
Woodstock Guitars are Danish distributors of Blueridge, and have the largest selection of Blueridge guitars in Denmark.
