Gibson ES-330 Sixties Cherry

The Gibson ES-330 is known for its distinctive sound, comfortable feel and classic ES-style appearance. Closely related to the Epiphone Casino, it combines a lightweight, completely hollow thinline body with a pair of Dogear P-90 pickups.

The body is constructed from 3-ply maple/poplar/maple with no center block. Combined with the trapeze tailpiece and deeply set neck, this gives the ES-330 a particularly resonant acoustic character. The mahogany neck has a Rounded C profile and an Indian rosewood fingerboard with small block acrylic inlays, a 12″ radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.

Hardware includes an adjustable ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, trapeze tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with white buttons and a Graph Tech nut.

Two Dogear P-90 pickups are hand-wired to 500k potentiometers and Orange Drop capacitors. The fully hollow construction gives the ES-330 a lively response both plugged in and acoustically, while the P-90 pickups allow it to cover everything from clean and jangly sounds to more aggressive overdriven tones. A hardshell case is included.
