Taylor 562ce 12-String 2019 USED

The Taylor 562ce is a 12-string acoustic-electric built around Taylor’s compact Grand Concert body and 12-fret neck configuration. Introduced as part of the 500 Series, it was designed to offer a physically smaller alternative to the large-bodied 12-strings traditionally associated with the format. Its short 24 7/8″ scale and 12th-fret neck joint make the instrument noticeably more manageable than most 12-strings.

This 2019 example is the updated version of the 562ce introduced that year with Taylor’s V-Class bracing. The revised design also uses Taylor’s six-pin double-mounted string anchoring system, where each string pair shares a single ebony bridge pin. The guitar has all-solid tropical mahogany construction, with mahogany used for the top, back, sides and neck. The body is finished in Shaded Edgeburst, with faux tortoise binding and Century fretboard inlays.

The combination of the Grand Concert body, 12-fret geometry and short scale gives the 562ce a different feel from a conventional jumbo or dreadnought 12-string. The bridge sits farther into the lower bout, while the shorter scale reduces the overall reach and gives the paired strings a relatively easy playing feel.  Electronics are Taylor’s Expression System 2, with onboard volume, bass and treble controls.

This guitar is essentially like new, with only very minor playwear. Includes paperwork and original black Taylor case with purple interior. Weight is 2300g.
