Woodstock Guitars

Introduced in the September 1964 catalogue, the Vibraslim was visually very similar to the preceeding TR-2 models, but instead of the latter’s carved solid construction, was a pressed laminated-wood thinline archtop, which made for a much lighter and more responsive instrument, despite having a solidly-braced top.

This 1967 example has the later (and fabulously named!) Bar-O-Matik pickup, bolt-on neck, Baldwin flattened scroll head, and short Rezotube vibrato unit. The trem is missing the plastic surround that was there originally (the outline of which can be seen in the finish), but is otherwise original. Sounds incredible and plays really great. A wonderful example for the player and collector alike!
