Gibson Les Paul Slash Antique Vintage Burst 2008 BRUGT

The 2008 Slash Signature Les Paul Standard takes the core of a late 80s Les Paul Standard and wraps it in details specified by Slash himself. Built in a limited run of 1600 guitars, it recreates one of the 1988 Standards he received from Gibson, including the Antique Vintage Sunburst finish over a figured maple top and solid mahogany body. The result is a classic Les Paul Standard with the look and feel associated with Slash’s main touring guitars.

This example has the Slash profile mahogany neck that feels like a comfortable medium C, with tall, narrow frets that are like new. Standard playwear, but nothing serious, and no breaks or repairs. Electronics are stock Seymour Duncan Alnico II Pro humbuckers, hardware is the Nashville Tune o matic bridge and stop tailpiece, with aftermarket straplocks fitted in place of the original buttons.

The original Slash motif hard case is included, in black with white interior, along with the original COA. Weight is 4200g.

Within the wider Slash line, this USA Standard is between the Custom Shop Inspired By models and later production signatures, and is one of the earlier limited collaborations from Gibson USA. For players who want the feel and sound of Slash’s main Les Paul in a straightforward Standard style package, this is the one. It roars!
