Hondo Revival H-935 BRUGT

The H-935 was one of Hondo’s better-known ES-style semi-hollows, built during the Samick period when Hondo offered a range of more ambitious set-neck electrics alongside its better-known budget models. This version follows the classic laminated double-cutaway semi-hollow formula with a center block, two covered humbuckers, Tune-O-Matic bridge, stop tailpiece, and full four-knob wiring.

This example is from the mid-1980s, most likely around 1985. It has the later Revival headstock, bound fingerboard with dot inlays, oversized pickguard, and Grover tuners. Finished in TT tiger-tail cherry sunburst with gold hardware, this example has the figured look and deluxe trim associated with the Revival-era H-935 models. It has standard playwear and is nicely loud and lively acoustically. Weight is 4000g.
