Jakobsson Guitars are named after Swedish luthier Leif Jakobsson, who makes guitars in a small workshop in Northern Sweden.

The Type I is his premier signature guitar model. Precision built with a mahogany body, mahogany neck and a rosewood or ebony fingerboard, it meets the requirements of the most demanding guitarist.
