Squier JV-series ’62 Reissue Stratocaster 3-Tone-Sunburst 1982

DKK 10995

This 1982 Squier Stratocaster is a JV-series ’62 Reissue in classic 3-Color Sunburst, built at the very start of the Fender Japan era when Squier was introduced as Fender’s vintage-style, Japan-made line. These early “JV” instruments from 1982–83 are widely sought after now, especially early ones that have the small “by Fender” logo on the headstock, like this one.

As a ’62 reissue, it follows the familiar Stratocaster recipe: a comfortable bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style tremolo, and three single-coil pickups for the full set of Strat tones, from glassy neck sounds to brighter bridge bite and the in-between “quack” positions.

It has standard playwear and a few minor dings consistent with age. There are plenty of frets left, it plays great, and it is very resonant. Weight is 3700g. Includes hardshell case.
