Taylor T5 Custom Crimson Sparkle 2006 BRUGT

The Taylor T5, launched in 2005, was conceived to cover electric and acoustic gigs from one thinline, hollowbody platform. It uses a three-source pickup system with a five-way switch to move from warm “acoustic-like” textures to full electric humbucker tones, and it’s happy into either acoustic or electric amps.

This 2006 Custom model comes in the period Crimson Sparkle finish and the classic T5 recipe: a sapele hollow body with a figured hardwood top, tropical mahogany neck, and ebony fingerboard/bridge. Scale is 24-7/8″ with 21 frets and a comfortable, slim carve that plays great and is familiar to electric players.

Condition is clearly gigged, with plenty of playwear, a coin-sized finish flake on the headstock, pick wear on the top, and scattered minor dings, but nothing serious or structural. Frets are 95% with no immediate work needed. Weight is 2700g. The original hard case is included and almost like new, so the guitar may have lived in a gigbag on the road.

Looks great, plays great, and does the “one-guitar/many-gigs” brief well.
