Continental Style O Resonator Guitar USED
DKK 11995
The Continental Style O is a stunning resonator guitar inspired by the iconic National Style O of the 1930s, celebrated for its punchy projection, rich midrange, and striking nickel-plated aesthetics. Continental guitars were conceived as an accessible yet high-quality alternative to vintage Nationals, with production rooted in a collaboration between AMI GmbH (Germany) and the now-defunct Amistar company in the Czech Republic, both renowned for their craftsmanship in metal-bodied resonators.
Originally, Continental resonators were built by Amistar and distributed via AMI in Germany. As Amistar ceased production, AMI assumed more direct control over the brand, with assembly moving entirely to Germany. The Continental Style O exemplifies this heritage: lightweight at only 3800g, beautifully built, with awesome tone and playability.
This particular guitar is a great player with only minor signs of use, and it comes in a heavily worn but functional non-original hardshell case. Whether you’re into blues, slide, or vintage tone, the Continental Style O delivers authentic resonator character in a more practical and affordable package than its vintage forebears.
