Furch Vintage Forty Five D-LT

The Furch Vintage Forty Five D-LT a is a special 45th anniversary Dreadnought produced in a strictly limited edition of just 45 guitars worldwide, shared between 25 Dreadnought and 20 Orchestra Model versions

This anniversary model combines a solid AAA-grade Alpine spruce top with solid Honduran rosewood back and sides. The top and back are both individually voiced to optimise their acoustic response, giving the guitar a powerful, balanced sound with strong projection and rich harmonic detail.

The traditional Dreadnought body provides substantial low-end response, volume and dynamic range, making it particularly suitable for flatpicking, strumming and acoustic playing where a full-bodied sound is required.

Furch’s Full-Pore Vintage Finish gives the guitar a lightly hand-brushed appearance reminiscent of older acoustic instruments. The ultra-thin UV-cured lacquer is designed to preserve the natural resonance of the solid tonewoods.

The anniversary detailing is particularly elaborate. Solid Hawaiian koa is used for the body, fingerboard and headstock binding, while the top features abalone purfling. The rosette combines koa, padauk and abalone.

Special Forty Five anniversary inlays decorate the ebony headstock, fingerboard and bridge, incorporating solid koa, padauk and white pearl. Additional details include copper-coloured polished frets, an ebony bridge and Gotoh SE700 Gold Patina tuners. The African mahogany neck features Furch’s Soft V.
