Larrivée OM-40 USED

The Larrivée OM-40 is an American-made, all-solid acoustic guitar from the company’s 40 Series, introduced in 2016. The series features Jean Larrivée’s Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid bracing system, which combines traditional X-bracing with asymmetrically scalloped cross-braces. This design gives the soundboard greater freedom to vibrate while maintaining the balance, clarity and controlled bass response associated with Larrivée guitars.

The OM body offers a comfortable alternative to a dreadnought while retaining a full 25.5-inch scale length. With a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the OM-40 delivers a balanced, responsive sound with clear trebles, defined bass and plenty of midrange detail. It is equally suitable for fingerstyle playing, strumming and flatpicking.

The mahogany neck has an ebony fingerboard, a 1 3/4-inch bone nut and a 16-inch fingerboard radius. Other details include maple body and fingerboard binding, distinctive rope-pattern rosette and purfling, diamond fingerboard inlays, an ebony bridge and vintage-style Grover open-gear tuners. The satin finish gives the guitar a natural appearance and feel.

In addition, this particular guitar is fitted with an LR Baggs Anthem system. It has a headstock break which has been very nicely repaired and is completely stable.  Apart from that, the guitar is in good overall cosmetic condition with minor playwear and one small ding on the back of the headstock near the A-string tuner. Weight is 1600g.
