Ovation Collector’s Series 94 1994 USED

The Ovation Collector’s Series 1994 (model 1994-7) is part of Ovation’s annual limited line, built to highlight their electro-acoustic design of the mid-90s. It was produced in a limited run and made in the USA. The guitar combines a solid AAA Sitka spruce top with a mid-depth Lyrachord bowl and Ovation Optima electronics.

The spruce top is paired with an ebony fingerboard and a walnut bridge, plus a multi-wood rosette in ash, ebony and maple. The neck is a 5-piece mahogany/ebony/purpleheart construction with a 25 1/4″ scale and a 1 11/16″ nut width. At the 12th fret you get the special “1994” inlay that identifies this Collector’s Series model. Gold tuners with ebony buttons and the cutaway body complete the specification.

This example is pretty much like new in every way. It plays great, and the frets are effectively perfect with no noticeable wear. The Optima preamp is intact, but the built-in tuner does not work on this guitar. Weight is 2400g. Original case and original paperwork included.
