Super exclusive and Custom Shop Made-to-Measure all-koa Hummingbird, with koa used for the top, back, and sides! Here’s the classic Hummingbird look and construction with a unique look and tone, offering fast attack, defined mids, and shimmering overtones that suit a wide variety of styles.

Introduced in 1960 as Gibson’s first square-shoulder model, the Hummingbird arrived at the start of a new musical era and was quickly adopted by influential players. Its reputation rests on versatility: whether you’re strumming open chords or playing detailed fingerstyle parts, the Hummingbird platform produces rich, supportive tone with strong projection and even response.

Signature features are as expected – the iconic engraved Hummingbird pickguard complements the top, while the body and neck are bordered by cream binding. A rounded mahogany neck pairs with an ebony fingerboard for a smooth feel and precise playability. Grover Rotomatic tuners do their thing and look great. The guitar has an LR Baggs EAS-VTC system with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls installed. Includes Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and Custom Shop documentation/certificate.
