Travis Bean TB500JG 2023 BRUGT

Travis Bean is one of the key names in aluminium-neck electric guitar design. The original company was active in the 1970s and became known for instruments with machined aluminium necks, unusual construction methods and a strong following among players looking for something outside standard Fender and Gibson designs.

The TB500JG is the Jerry Garcia-inspired version of the original TB500 concept. It keeps the distinctive aluminium neck and offset solidbody layout, but adds the three single-coil pickup arrangement, individual pickup on/off switching and OBEL effects-loop wiring associated with Garcia’s original Travis Bean used with the Grateful Dead. The result is one of the more specialised modern Travis Bean Designs models, with a specification aimed at players who want maximum pickup-combination control and an integrated effects-loop setup.

This 2023 TB500JG is finished in white with a polished aluminium neck and headstock. It has a chunky neck profile, three white single-coil pickups, three individual pickup switches, master volume, two tone controls and OBEL wiring. Weight is 5200g. The guitar is in excellent condition with very minor playwear, minimal fretwear, and plays great. It includes the hardcase, TRS cable and TRS to dual mono splitter.
