Fender 40th Anniversary American Standard Stratocaster Midnight Wine 1994

Fender marked the Stratocaster’s 40th year in 1994 with a commemorative American Standard model. This edition keeps the core late-’80s/early-’90s American Standard feature set and adds 40th Anniversary identifiers like the “40th” neck plate and headstock badge.

Midnight Wine polyurethane finish over an alder body, maple neck with a modern C profile, and a 9.5 inch radius fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, two-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles and sealed Fender tuners. Electronics also follow the period-correct American Standard layout: three Alnico single-coil pickups, 5-way switch, master volume, and two tone controls. Scale length is 25.5 inches.

Frets are perfect and the guitar plays great. Standard playwear with minor dings. Includes original molded hardshell case. Weight is 3100g.
