Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s Heritage Cherry Sunburst 2021 BRUGT

This 2021 Gibson Les Paul Standard ’50s in Heritage Cherry Sunburst is the modern production version of Gibson’s classic late-’50s Les Paul. As part of the Original Collection, the Standard ’50s brings back a solid (non-weight-relieved) mahogany body with a carved figured maple top, rounded ’50s neck profile and hand-wired electronics with Orange Drop capacitors. It is built to deliver the feel and response associated with late-’50s bursts, but with the consistency and playability of a recent USA model.

The neck has the familiar ’50s shape, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Hardware is period-correct in style: ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminum stopbar tailpiece and Vintage Deluxe tuners with keystone buttons, all in nickel.

The Burstbucker 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) humbuckers use Alnico II magnets and are wired with 500k pots for an open, dynamic response from clean to overdriven sounds.

This example has only minor standard playwear. All original case candy is included, as is the original brown Gibson hardcase with pink interior. Weight is 4300g.
