Gibson LG-0 1962

DKK 15995

The Gibson LG-0 was introduced in 1958 as the entry-level model in Gibson’s small-body LG range. It kept things simple, with an all-mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, short Gibson scale length and ladder bracing. Compared with the spruce-topped LG models, the LG-0 has a drier and more direct sound, with the woody midrange you would expect from a small all-mahogany Gibson.

This 1962 example is in great condition with no horror stories. Bridge has been changed because the guitar has had a pickup installed. Pickup works and sounds good, but we can’t establish exactly what pickup it is. Pickguard has also been changed, and the original 3 on a plate tuners have been changed to Kluson-style tuners.

Overall, the guitar sounds just right and plays great. Includes original chipboard case.
