Orange Rockerverb 50 Mk1 BRUGT
DKK 10995
The Rockerverb series arrived in the early 2000s as Orange’s more modern, higher-gain two-channel platform, built for players who want proper cleans, a lot of drive, and real valve reverb in one head.
Herre we have a Rockerverb 50 Mk I, the original 50-watt version with a feel that differs from later models. The Mk I runs four 6V6 power valves, which gives the amp a slightly softer attack and a rounder midrange compared to the EL34-equipped Mk II and Mk III. The clean channel is intentionally simple with just Volume, Bass and Treble. It stays clear at lower settings, but it can be pushed into a warm, vintage-style break-up by turning the Volume up. The Dirty channel is where the Rockerverb name really lives: Gain plus a full 3-band EQ, plenty of saturation, and a thick, modern Orange voice.
A practical Mk I detail is the rear-panel Hi/Lo damping switch, which changes the output response and feel, making it easy to tighten the low end or soften the overall response without changing your front-panel settings.
The amp has some wear from gigging and small marks in the tolex, but it works as it should and sounds glorious.
