Fano SP6 Alt de Facto Gold Top Relic

Fano’s Alt de Facto series is the company’s hand-built line from Arizona, with each guitar made around a custom combination of woods, pickups, hardware and finish options. The SP6 is one of Fano’s core single cut models, combining familiar vintage-inspired ingredients with a more individual outline, a rounded heel and a shorter 628 mm scale length.

This SP6 Alt de Facto has a pine body finished in Gold Top with a factory relic treatment. The 1-ply cream pickguard, matching headstock and aged hardware keep the look simple and direct, while the worn finish gives it the feel of a guitar that has already seen plenty of use. The bolt-on maple neck has a C profile and a rosewood fingerboard with white MOTO dot inlays and a 254 mm to 406 mm compound radius, giving it a vintage-style starting point with a flatter feel higher up the neck.

The pickup layout pairs a Lollar P90 in the neck position with a Lollar ’52 T-Style single coil in the bridge. It is a practical combination for players who want the fuller midrange of a P90 alongside the sharper attack of a traditional T-style bridge pickup. Controls are kept simple with volume, tone and a 3-way selector.

Hardware includes a Fano T-style bridge, Bigsby B5 vibrato and Gotoh SD90 tuners. Comes with some paperwork and original Fano gigbag. Weight is 3400g.
