Mayones Aquila Elite V24 S 6 Trans Jeans Black Burst

Mayones has built guitars and basses in Gdansk, Poland since the early 1980s, and the brand has become a strong name among players looking for high-end modern instruments with precise construction and carefully chosen hardware. The Aquila is Mayones’ take on a modern double cut 6-string, keeping the familiar bolt-on layout but pairing it with the company’s own styling, premium woods and a direct, player-focused control setup.

This Aquila Elite V24 S 6 has a swamp ash body with a flamed maple top, finished in Trans Jeans Black Black Burst. The flamed maple binding and matching headstock continue the same visual theme, while the natural back keeps the ash body clearly visible. The neck is flamed maple with a birdseye maple fingerboard, abalone dot inlays, stainless steel frets and a 305 mm radius. With a 645 mm scale length, 43.3 mm nut width and D neck profile, it is built around a modern but still familiar 6-string feel.

The electronics are Mayones’ own Velvetrone humbuckers, with a Solium in the neck position and an Ironside in the bridge. The control layout is simple and useful: volume, tone and a 5-way selector. Hardware is Gotoh, with a 510 tremolo bridge with steel saddles and Gotoh 510 locking tuners. Weight is 3300g.
